Chapter 5 - Moving Forward

To Victoria, it seemed like there was hardly enough time to sleep these days.

Most of their time was spent teaching the little ones the things they would need to survive in life.  Victoria had never been so tired or so happy in her entire life.

Conrad adored his children as much as his wife, and found himself similarly occupied most evenings!

Before they knew it, Arabeth had become a teenager, with all of the pranks, drama, and angst that goes along with it.

And wouldn't you know, misery loves company!  Arik aged up to teen not long after.

Conrad was stunned by how much Arabeth was beginning to resemble his wife!

"Conrad, you're happy...right?  Here with me?" Victoria said.

"I've never been happier my love," he said, "Though I wish my bride would pick a wedding day!"

"Oh, but why ruin a good thing!" she said, "We've been so happy...what if getting married changes things?

"I can think of a few things it wouldn't change..." He replied.
